Our Story
Built for the way South Indian families celebrate
VMS Dhamotharan Thirumana Mandapam stands on the Tindivanam Bypass Road, just beyond the Moratandi tollgate and directly opposite the Irumbai Sai Baba Temple. It is close enough to Pondicherry to be easy for your guests to reach, and far enough out to give you the space that a large function genuinely needs.
A traditional South Indian wedding is not one event — it is a day of them. Guests arrive through the morning, the ceremony runs on its own time, meals are served in rounds, and the family needs somewhere to change and rest between it all. This mandapam was planned around exactly that rhythm.
The main hall, the dining hall, the kitchen, the rooms and the parking are all on the same premises. Nothing has to be arranged elsewhere and nothing has to be moved between venues. And all of it is offered at a price that ordinary families can plan around — which, more than anything else, is what the mandapam is known for.

Dining, Kitchen & Serving
A dining hall kept entirely separate from the main function area, with long stainless serving counters and seating for up to 250 guests at a time. Behind it, the kitchen and serving area is built to handle catering for as many as 1500 people — and the utensils for that scale are available on site.

Comfort & Convenience
Rooms with attached bathrooms and air conditioning let the family rest and change on site, with a dedicated dressing room for the bride and groom and a separate room option when you need more space.
