Wedding
Muhurtham at first light, relatives arriving through the morning, and lunch running in sittings until the last one has eaten. The main hall seats over 500 under full air conditioning with no pillars in the way, so the manavarai goes wherever the ceremony calls for it.

Reception

Birthday Celebrations

Kaathukuthal
The ear-piercing itself takes minutes; the relatives who travel for it, the blessings from the elders and the meal afterwards take the whole morning. Seating is arranged around the ritual rather than in rows, so everyone can actually see it.

Engagement
The nichayathartham is smaller and warmer than the wedding that follows — both families, the thattu of gifts, the rings, and the wedding date read out to everyone at once. Use a portion of the hall or open it right out.
